Description:

In the 15th episode of the Historic Performance Podcast, I interview Tom Williams.  Tom is the Lead Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach at Leicester City Football Club.

I was introduced to Tom by Luke Jenkinson, who was previously on the podcast.  He highly recommend that I talk to him since Leicester is doing some fantastic things at the Academy level to ensure optimal development of their youth.

In this episode, Tom talks about the Functional 5 Movement Screen used within the Leicester City Academy to look for imbalances and prevent injury, the LTAD stages and their importance in youth player development, and how he is using the watt bike for the purpose of PAP during match day.
