In the 30th episode of the Historic Performance Podcast, I interview Matt Reeves. Matt is the Head of Fitness & Conditioning at Leicester City Football Club. Leicester City is enjoying an absolutely tremendous season in the Premiership. While many doubted that the Foxes could keep up with their stellar form in 2016, they have so far surpassed all expectations and still continue to find themselves in 1st place. A key factor in Leicester's success has been their sport science staff, who have kept Leicester's players healthy. This has given manager Claudio Ranieri the ability to consistently choose his best starting XI. In this episode, Matt talks about Leicester's injury prevention strategies, post-match recovery methods, and provides a detailed description of a typical week at Leicester City.
