Historic Performance Podcast #50 - Chad Kolarcik & Ravi Ramineni

Category: Sports & Recreation
Duration:
Publish Date: 2016-05-11 01:10:41
Description:

In the 50th episode of the Historic Performance Podcast, I interview Chad Kolarcik & Ravi Ramineni of Seattle Sounders FC. Chad is the Head of Strength & Conditioning and Ravi is a Performance Analyst at the Sounders.

The Seattle Sounders, in my humble opinion, have one of the best sports science departments in Major League Soccer. It currently consists of 6 individuals.

Initially, this episode was suppose to also have Dave Tenney, their Director of Performance & Sports Science, but unfortunately, we were unable to find a time that worked for all three of them.

In this episode, Chad & Ravi talk about the Sounders' typical microcycle, their use of HRV & GPS to monitor training load, creating sport science reports, and data visualization.
