In the 65th episode of the Historic Performance Podcast, I interview Brijesh Patel. Brijesh is the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Quinnipiac University. At Quinnipiac University, Brijesh spearheads a department whose primary focus is to improve the movement skills of student-athletes by utilizing Fitts/Posner's model motor skill learning, focusing on internal cues, and long duration isometrics. In addition to his work at Quinnipiac, Brijesh has offered his expertise through numerous publications and regional industry functions. He wrote a chapter titled Off-Season Training Considerations for Basketball in the book Functional Training Handbook.
