In the 72nd episode of the Historic Performance Podcast, I interview Ernest Rimer. Ernest is the Director of Sport Science at the University of Utah.

In addition to his role, Ernie is a Ph.D. student in Utah's Department of Exercise & Sport Science. His research focuses on novel insights and applications that may increase sports performance and enhance rehabilitation.

Prior to Utah, Rimer was a Strength & Conditioning Specialist in the High Performance Department of the US Ski & Snowboard Association. Before the US Ski Team, Rimer was a Strength & Conditioning Coach at NAU. He also served internships in the Arena Football League with the Arizona Rattlers, in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts, and at the United States Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.
