Funny Story
During Garter Removal, Groom thought he could only use his mouth, and he couldn’t get a grip of the lace. To the point where parents had to go and get him “out of there” (by his ears).
Stressful moment:
She forgot her planning notebook at home and realized it almost arriving to the venue (which was 2 hours+ away). A friend’s father went to her house and brought it to Ponte. Good thing she had a code to get in!
Best decision: Glowsticks for the exit – She couldn’t use sparklers due to regulations, but they worked perfectly!
Regret: Stressing out about things she couldn’t control.
Bridal Party: Funny enough, no drama around the bridesmaids, but they lost one groomsmen who got insulted he wasn’t the best man!
Budget advice: Split your budget before you make any purchase, to avoid going over budget. Set your priorities and then add any extras if allowed.
What would you do differently: I wish that I started “little things” sooner. Things like wrapping bridesmaids gifts, last minute décor, etc.
Planners and apps:
She felt that planner were a little “controlling” so she used a blank planner and made her own version.
Marriage advice:
Always seek your spouse for the wants and needs; ask for their intake on every situation. Communication.
From The Bride:
“I really liked the rustic look, but definitely still wanted to keep it a fancier occasion, so the décor was rustic with elegant touches. I was a DIY bride and all of the décor pieces were created specifically for my wedding.”
