Description: There's been an increase in the number of people born along the U.S.-Mexico border who are being denied passports because the United States doesn't believe they're American citizens, according to a report in The Washington Post. Also, more than 30 states allow religious exemptions from child abuse and neglect laws. Now, some medical schools are finding ways to teach students about religion and how it can play a role between doctors and patients. And a weekslong national prison strike is underway across the U.S. Mostly organized by inmates themselves, protesters are pushing a list of demands including "an immediate end to prison slavery."
