Cerridwen Fallingstar and Erma joined the conversation with their experiences making a point that it is ok for children not to want to give “hugs.” Their bodies belong to them, they must embrace this fact at an early age. If they are uneasy about getting close to anyone, whether it be family, friend, teacher, pastor, doctor, uncle, their own father or even mother, it may be for a good reason! Denise Martin joined in on the 2nd hour with her point of view on living in a homeless shelter and “safety in numbers.” Cogee and the Hands Off team reiterated the “trust no one” rule, and that child abuse can happen faster than we think! It was agreed that pedophilia happens within our own homes with close relatives but it can happen anywhere.
