About Emre Kazim

Dr. Emre Kazim is the co-founder and COO of Holistic AI, a start-up focusing on software for auditing and risk management of AI systems. He is also a Research Fellow in Computer Science at University College London. His research interests include algorithmic assessment, the impact of new digital technologies on the structures of the state and informed policymaking.

He has a track record of interdisciplinary and knowledge exchange through community and consortia building. Furthermore, Dr Emre Kazim has been facilitating conversations around pressing ethical challenges arising from the increasing adoption of algorithmic decision systems. His focus has been on Governance, Policy and Auditing of AI systems, including Algorithm Interpretability and Certification.
