The non-gaming industry is a big industry that is growing. There's a huge sector of game developers that are transferring their skills and are prospering in stability and real-life applications. John Podlasek joins us from Level-Ex , a company that produces applications for the medical field to train doctors and medical professionals. John has over 25 years of experience and have worked in the industry since the launch of NEC TurboGrafx-16 back in the summer of 1989 and seen a lot. He has survived three layoffs and has since ventured off to innovate game tech outside of gaming. We talk about his aspirations to make Game Dev Advice and help train the future students to navigate this rocky profession. |
