Description: To learn more about becoming a Certified Strengths Coach at the Gallup Strengths Center: http://on.gallup.com/1i5OXhq. Gallup's Called to Coach is a live Webcast that targets current and prospective coaches to interact with Gallup experts and independent strengths coaches who have found success in strengths-based development. On a recent Called to Coach, we spoke with Gallup's Global Strengths Evangelist, Paul Allen. Paul quoted Don Clifton, "Imagine a world that was built on the strengths of its inhabitants." The Clifton Strengths movement is becoming a global phenomenon. Just this spring, a briefing on Gallup's Strengths Coaching was held in Manila for the first time and it attracted over 200 attendees in less than five days. The Clifton Strengths movement is growing exponentially in countries like India, Australia, South Africa and Singapore. In fact, Singapore is well on its way to becoming one of the first strengths-based countries. Paul also mentioned that Rhode Island will be the first strengths-based state. The governor and state government are passionate about bringing strengths to the entire Ocean State. The recent momentum behind the Clifton Strengths movement began with Gallup's decision to make strengths available to more people. Initially, Clifton StrengthsFinder and strength coaches were only provided to enterprise level clients. Over time, Gallup began providing Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment codes available in Gallup's bestselling books and for purchase through the Gallup Strengths Center. Moreover, Gallup instituted its groundbreaking Accelerated Strengths Coaching course -- which has trained over 1,500 coaches around the world. These amazing coaches are spreading the Strengths movement to vast numbers of people and organizations. They teach people about their strengths, but more importantly, coaches help people apply their strengths to concrete goals and actions. Going forward, the StrengthsFinder movement seeks to bring Strengths to millions more people all over the world. To hear more about the Clifton Strengths movement, the CliftonStrengths Summit and strengths coaching, please listen to the audio above.
