Kite Fest 2018 returns to Illinois State University's Hancock Stadium for a second year, combining family fun with raising awareness of nonprofits in the community. The organization For a Better Tomorrow organizes Kite Fest , with Tejas Jani and Steve Grady taking the lead on the event. Admission is free. Sponsorships and kite sales are the key fundraising aspects of this event. The money raised will help charities both locally and globally. In addition to kite flying, the event includes demonstrations by the Normal Police's K-9 Unit, face painting, live music and more.
