For his whole career, George Howard has been working to improve the music industry. “I’ve been put on this planet to help artists create sustainable careers on their own terms,” says Howard. “That’s what I get out of bed every day to do.” Along the way, he’s gotten several degrees and founded several companies. It’s with this perspective that he approaches one of his biggest frustrations: “Unless an artist is signed to a major label, they are not going to get big time radio play. Just not going to happen.” His latest company, MAX, is all about redressing that issue. This is the problem he set out to solve.
