Darlene discusses exponential technology, it's scope and how it is being used to solve the social problems around the world impacting more than a billion people. She refers to some of the start-ups Singularity University's' faculty have mentored successfully who are solving the problems in the healthcare field (ex: diagnosing the disease through artificial intelligence, and one start-up using AI to predict water supply and availability.
