Today we are talking with Rémy de Lavergne, who has 20 years experience in Procurement.
And recently he has decided to give his own definition for a Professional Buyer and Management.
According to Rémy, Professional Buyer is both a Value Maker for Clients (Internal and external) and a Costs Reducer!
And based on these two features we can classify 4 types of Procurement professionals:
- The Bureaucrate (no Cost reduction, no Value creation),
- The Cost killer (reduces Costs without taking care of Value creation for his organisation clients),
- The Innovator (values Innovation without trying to reduce Costs),
- The Business Developer (Values Innovations and Reduces Cost at the same time).
Listen to this interview and learn more about this great tool!
Hope you will apply the Lavergne Procurement Matrix in your professional development!
