They’re chat about a new school poetry campaign by the Trussell Trust, with the topic of a Hunger-Free Future in the UK. In November 2020, we launched an ambitious campaign to create change – to build a movement of people who will work alongside the Trussell Trust to create a hunger free future. From March to August 2020, food banks in the Trussell Trust network gave out 1.2 million emergency food parcels. That’s one food parcel every 13 seconds and 2,600 of these went to children every day on average. This kind of help shouldn’t be needed.
