In 1983 after graduating from College I had a little bit of difficulty trying to get into the Fitness Industry and landed a job with a small Fitness Company in Texas, Fitness Unlimited. I was allowed to work in the club but not as an Instructor or Trainer although I was the only employee with a Degree in Physical Education/Health. Those positions were for certain people. After begging and pleading with the owners daughter("the club director") to let me teach aerobics, I finally got my opportunity when the top instructor at the club one day did not show and there was no one else that could fill here shoes. I was totally prepared just waiting for my break-through. I busted on the scene with this Michael Jackson Hit from his 1979 Off The Wall Album and 28 years later I am still teaching aerobics to this same song. Workin', Workin', Workin', Day and Night!
