This trip we were fishing out of New Orleans.  We were fishing with Paul Lappin with Fly Water Expeditions.  We were chasing some of the big bull redfish that come into the area in the fall and winter months.  The area is a fantastic fly fishing destination with opportunities year round.  It also doesn't hurt that you are fishing out of New Orleans.  Its rare that such a great fishery is so close to a big metropolis like New Orleans.
