The distributed ledger platform is different from other blockchain platforms in that it’s designed explicitly for and by the world’s financial institutions. R3 is a consortium of over 75 of the world’s largest financial institutions, and Richard Crook, Head of Innovation Engineering at RBS, sits on its steering committee. He crystallized the mission statement that led to the creation of Corda, which will be available November 30. We sit down with both Richards to talk about the current and future state of blockchain.
