Description: Many scientists have reacted with shock to a decision by the European court to treat genetically altered crops in the same way as those which are genetically modified with DNA from other organisms. Environmental campaigners have welcomed the decision, as have the Soil Association. Farming Today hears how farmers at the Royal Welsh Show told Theresa May of their fears about leaving the EU without a deal and the damage this could to the rural community in Wales. The Prime Minister reiterated that Brexit provided an opportunity to create a farming sector "fit for the future". Anna Jones was also at the show this week, and reports on how the environmental body Natural Resources Wales plans to improve biodiversity in the country. And taking sheep for a walk in the hills - the latest initiative in farm diversification. Presented by Anna Jones Produced by Alun Beach.
