Description: The pandemic has led to increased levels of stress, anxiety, depression, and suicidal feelings among the UK’s farming population - and the Government must take urgent action to improve rural mental heath services. That’s the finding of a report out today from Cranfield, Exeter, Reading and Sheffield Universities…which says some primary mental-healthcare services can be inaccessible and inadequately suited to rural areas. We visit a stunning and slaughter facility for farmed salmon and hear calls for the technology to be used for wild caught fish too.
