Description: China has suspended some imports of British pork after outbreaks of Covid 19 at two UK processing plants,. The suspension is estimated to be costing more than half a million pounds a week in lost sales and will lower the prices paid to farmers. A sausage manufacturer has switched to Danish pork because of the time and money it's taking to get its own meat to a processing plant on the continent. Helen Browning Organics uses a specialist company in Germany to make its sausages. But they say since Brexit, it's proving too difficult and too expensive to export their pork. The pandemic's had a big impact on food businesses. One game company in Scotland says that although it's not had to make redundancies, thanks to the furlough scheme, it's lost hundreds of thousands of pounds. However one family dairy in Wales says their milk vending machine has been busier than ever. Presenter = Charlotte Smith Producer = Rebecca Rooney
