Description: Official Government figures suggest fly-tipping in England in on the increase - there has been a 2% rise in the number of incidents on Council-owned land. Farmers and landowners say as those figures only include what happens on public land they hide the true extent of the problem, and say tougher penalties are needed as a deterrent. At this week's National Farmers Union annual conference, the International Trade Secretary told delegates she wants to get British food to the top of the global food menu - saying they should be looking East for new trade opportunities. Anna Hill spoke to Liz Truss after her speech, and asked her about concerns raised by The All Party Parliamentary Group for Trade and Export Promotion, which has said the government should ‘overhaul its secretive approach to post-Brexit trade negotiations’. As we continue our week looking at the trawling industry, we look at how dredging for scallops can be made more sustainable. Plus we discuss what a recent ban on Pulse Trawling might mean for scientific fishing innovation. Presented by Charlotte Smith Produced in Bristol by Natalie Donovan
