Shannon Bream grew up memorizing Scripture while enrolled in Awana. Her mother first taught her Philippians 2:3, which says, Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves. With God’s providence, after graduating from college and law school, and then struggling as a young lawyer, Shannon persevered in her quest to value others above herself,’ culminating in her landing a plum job as host of Fox News @ Night. In this public forum, Shannon engages viewers and the culture each night to defend truth and righteousness. On today’s edition of Family Talk, she talks to Dr. Tim Clinton about her previous stage fright, her husband’s brain tumor, and her new book, The Mothers and Daughters of the Bible Speak, highlighting life lessons from mothers and daughters in Scripture.
