Description:

This is our week late Mother's Day Episode. Swade and Walter share a little of the presents they gave to their moms for the special day. (00:03:37) Walter wants to try and talk about waiting because he thinks not enough people discuss it even though everyone has opinions on it. Its a long discussion and things like waiting in lines, making people wait and waiting spaces are some of the things talked about. (00:02:52)  Swade and Walter share their creations  for phone apps they want to exist. (00:22:45) Swade brings Kaneto Shindo's "Onibaba" and describes how clever the grass is used in the film. He shares his perspective on the mother, Onibaba, and how she is a monster because of the environment around her. (00:42:27) Walter talks about Bong Joon-Ho's "Mother" and believes that the film tries hard not to judge the mother even if she did an evil thing. (01:06:04) Last week, the podcast asked our listeners to send in their favorite monster girls and we got quite a lot of replies. Swade and Walter go through the monster girls and discuss the listeners messages.
