	Description:		Between January 1 and July 1, 2019 San Bernardino County experienced an increase in the number of reported hepatitis A cases identifying 15 cases among county residents. During the same time period in 2018, only two hepatitis A cases were reported. Hepatitis A is an acute viral infection that affects the liver and can be easily transmitted from person to person. Diana Ibrahim from the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health came on the program to talk about how the Health Department is addressing the problem and what preventative measures need to be taken by those in contact with high-risk populations.
