And you can only be yourself after you find yourself. And finding yourself means finding your soul, because that is who you really are. We spend so much time in this modern world imitating other people, trying to fit in, building a false self image based of of people we look up to. But those people are spiritually lost also, and you cannot find your way when you are following a lost person, even if you imitate them perfectly, and they are a happy person, you will not be happy, because the only way to be happy is to be yourself. Don't be afraid of people's opinions and what they will say, don't become someone else because of fear. Listen to your inner voice, listen to your heart; follow your heart, follow your dreams. You have a piece of God inside of you, Hashem literally gave you a piece of him to work with here in this world. So use it to it's full potential! Listen to your heart! If your heart is talking, that means hashem is talking, God is talking to you, guiding you to find your purpose through your soul. The way to find your soul, is to talk. Talk to yourself, meditate, do Hitbodedut, talk to God, pray to God, just get the words out. Words are how you recognize what a person is, words carry the truth. So start saying the truth, and you will end up finding the truth, and finding your soul. It's not kabbalah, it's not a deep kabbalistic concept, it's just a simple, human, conversation.
