We need to look around and see how we can fix the world, the whole world was given to us to fix. To fix out soul, so that our soul will shine on the world. And the only way to find your soul is to search for it, to search for the truth. To love yourself, because you are your soul. And if you don't love yourself, it means that you don't love your soul. And if you don't love your soul, how do you expect it to shine to the world? Hashem (God) loves us just as we are. That's why he created us the way that we are. People think that God's love and God's compassion are dependant on how good we are, on how we are behaving, spiritually and physically. But God loves us even if we are sinning. God doesn't judge us the way that we judge ourselves. Hashem has an infinite amount of mercy, and he understands us even better than we understand ourselves. He knows how hard the spiritual test are for us. He knows what our souls challenge and rectification is. He understands. He is also ready to change any situation we are in with prayer. With enough prayer and Hitbodedut (Jewish Meditation), you can "Buy" anything. The bigger the thing you are asking from God, the more prayer. So keep praying! Pray for another hour! Pray for 1 minute a day for the next year. But the Talmud says, that whoever lengthens his prayers, his prayers will not come back empty. There is nothing like the power of Tefilah, the power of prayer.
