Description: In this in inspiring lecture at Arzei Darom of Great Neck, Rav Dror Moshe Cassouto gives such wonderful inspiration to believe in, and fight for, God's mercy. We don't believe in God's mercy enough. God loves us, and that's it. It is only in our minds that he doesn't love us, but the truth is that God wants to give us more then we could ever imagine. We need to pray, and then walk forward and progress with the confidence that our prayers have been answered. Many times we pray and pray and pray, and we don't try to achieve what we have been praying for. But how will we know that our prayers have been answered if we don't try to do what we have been praying about?? Many times God has already said yes, and it is up to us to have that confidence to move forward with Emunah and faith that Hashem (God) is with us. Spiritual confidence, that is the secret to life. We have a spiritual soul inside of us, here in this world on a spiritual mission - God is with us and prayer is our weapon, we just need to use it. In battle, you don't put down your weapon until you have won. So why do we put down prayer before we have received what we have come for? We are so special, we have such good hearts and souls, and God loves us simply because he is the Father of Mercy, and Compassion is one of his names. That is who he is. So no matter what we have done i our lives, what mistakes we have made, what religion we come from, what sins we have committed, non of that affects God's love to us. He may have to send some things our way to direct our life journey in the spiritual direction in which he wants us to go, but he does not deny kindness because of our sins and transgressions. That is the definition of kindness and compassion - acts of good that are without reason, done regardless of what the receiver truly deserves.
