Description: Created in Finland in 2010, ThingLink is a cross-platform software that allows users to create and edit 360° images, video, interactive images, and virtual reality content. While this software can be used by anyone, its primary application is in the classroom, allowing students to create their own xR experience in education. Thinglink’s employees coach educators and students through a step-by-step process on how to edit and eventually create their own content. This highly personalized style of learning allows for self-driven engagement with learning materials. We spoke with Susan Oxnevad of Thinglink to learn more about how this xR platform is allowing students to learn through creation.
