Please join us on Friday, February 2nd from 11 am to 12:30 pm for a public presentation featuring Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs David Malpass. Under Secretary Malpass will speak about the Administration’s approach to promoting growth and prosperity in Latin America, with a view to the Eighth Summit of the Americas taking place in Peru in April 2018 and the G20 Summit taking place in Argentina in November 2018. Under Secretary Malpass will also discuss China’s involvement in Latin America, including its growing economic and commercial ties. CSIS Americas Director Michael Matera will introduce Under Secretary Malpass. Following the presentation, CSIS Simon Chair and International Economics Director Matthew Goodman will lead a conversation and moderate a question and answer session with Under Secretary Malpass.
