	Description:		Police in Taita-Taveta County are investigating claims that some local youth have joined the outlawed Mombasa Republican Council.A police source told The Standard that some people suspected to be officials of the proscribed group were recently spotted recruiting jobless youth in Mwatate, Wundanyi and Mgange on the pretext of giving them jobs.The source said two recruitment agents, one of them a foreigner, have been moving around the county in a vehicle without registration plates recruiting.Police are looking for the pair who, according the source, on realising that the police were closing in on them at Mgange location, escaped in the vehicle.Taita DC Njenga Miiri directed chiefs and their assistants to be vigilant and ensure no local youth was enlisted by outlawed criminal organisations...Click here
