The recent EASD annual meeting provided the opportunity for a lot of new data to be presented - however, what were the key highlights, and how might these impact practice? We joined three leading experts in diabetes to hear their thoughts on a number of topics, including: 

- Professor Chantal Mathieu, for a discussion of the DAPA-CKD and EMPEROR-Reduced trials

- Dr Tim Heise, for a discussion of once-weekly basal insulin

- Professor Carel le Roux, for a discussion of the STEP trials and MAFLD in diabetes
