Introducing injectable therapies | With Dr Ronald Goldenberg

Category: Health
Duration: 00:13:39
Publish Date: 2021-10-12 04:00:00
Description:

Clinical inertia in type 2 diabetes is particularly pronounced for injectable agents, with delays of 6-8 years reported to move from oral agents to insulin therapy. This can be a result of many barriers at both the patient and clinician level, from perceptions of injectable agents to lack of time to provide sufficient education. Join Dr Ronald Goldenberg for a discussion of how to overcome these barriers to initiating injectable therapy.
