This is the first episode of a new podcast series entitled, “A Lotus Blooms in Central Ohio.” This series will cover the history and activities of the Columbus Karma Thegsum Chöling, which has the distinction of being the first Karma Kagyu Lineage Buddhist Center founded in the United States under the auspices of His Holiness the Gyalwang Karmapa. Our guests will talk about topics such as meditation, the role of Buddhism in urban life, teaching mindfulness in prison and how an earnest group of American Buddhists seeks to rebuild their temple after an arson fire.

Episode 1 is an interview about the history of the Columbus KTC with our resident teacher: Lama Kathy Wesley.
