The Chapparal Artists are hosting a day of blooming art on Wednesday (August 13). The hi-desert artists group invites everyone to an event they are hosting at Gubler Orchids. Artists from across the Morongo Basin and beyond are invited to enter the nursery and use live orchids as inspiration for photography, drawings, paintings and more. All the orchids that are in bloom will be moved toward the front of the nursery for easy artist access. Closed, non-slip shoes are required. Bring your own supplies.
The event is Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Gubler Orchids, located at 2200 Belfield Boulevard in Landers.
