The Basin Wide Foundation is accepting nominations for its 27th Annual Awards Celebration.

The yearly awards event honors local volunteers, nonprofits, businesses, and organizations that go above and beyond to uplift our community, and they are looking for people like you to help recognize those making a difference in the Morongo Basin.

Nominations are open now through Wednesday, July 10 at 9:00 PM. You can submit as many nominations as you’d like. There are 8 different categories in which you can submit your nominations:

  • Together We Can – Multiple individuals or organizations that exemplify the “Together We Can” motto in community service in the Morongo Basin.
  • Lifetime Achievement – an individual with decades of volunteer service or leadership.
  • Above & Beyond – a paid employee—from any industry—who goes above and beyond their role.
  • Cultural Contributor – advances local culture through visual art, music, theater, or storytelling.
  • Non-Profit of the Year – a standout charitable organization showing excellence and impact.
  • Volunteer of the Year – An individual whose heart and volunteer service have strengthened lives.
  • Youth Volunteer of the Year – A passionate volunteer under age 18 making a real difference.
  • Business of the Year – A business that consistently gives back through service, sponsorship, and strong support of local causes.

Awardees will be honored during the 27th Annual Awards Celebration & Dinner on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Tickets to the event will be announced after the nomination period ends on July 10th. 

Basin Wide Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local service, connection, and collaboration throughout the Morongo Basin. For over 25 years, they’ve empowered nonprofits, hosted community events, provided fiscal sponsorships, and championed grassroots leadership.
