Among other items in today’s business at the Hi-Desert Water District, directors will hear an update on the expanded use loan program for eligible properties in the Phase 1 sewer program. It looks like those who enrolled in the program and received funds to help pay for their connections to the sewer line, and who have begun repaying those funds with their property taxes will be getting some of that funding reclassified from loans to grants with some money back. Today’s meeting takes place at the district office on the highway at Inca Trail.
At the Joshua Basin Water District a team from the U.S Geological Survey will present on ground water in the district. The meeting is at the District Office on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
