Description: The DeenOverDunya Show Hosted By Saiful-Haqq and Guest Speaker Imam Omar Muhammad    A SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF BROTHER OMAR MUHAMMAD Since 1993, Brother Omar Muhammad has volunteered as the Khateeb (Cleric) of Masjid  Al-Faatir, founded by his father Jabir Herbert Muhammad and boxing legend  Muhammad Ali.  The nephew of Imam Wallace Deen Mohammed (leader of the  Muslim American Society), Brother Omar was fortunate to study Al-Islam at young age under the private tutelage of Imams from Sudan, Nigeria and Al-Azhar University.  Upon graduating from high school as valedictorian, he was awarded a full scholarship  to continue his Islamic studies in the Institute of Arabic at Imam Muhammad Bin Saud  University in Riyaadh, Saudi Arabia. Brother Omar  also serves on the Board of Directors of both the Muhammad Islamic  Corporation – which administrates Masjid Al-Faatir; and the Voice of Islam Foundation,  an organization established to produce and distribute Islamic publications. Over the past  twenty two years, Brother Omar has assisted in the production and  publication of several Islamic books, including Short Surats of The Holy Qur’an, Weapon of  the Prophets, and one the most comprehensive books on the Holy Month of Ramadan:  The Best Month, the Best Night  - Second Edition.  Additionally, he has served as an  instructor for Qur’anic Arabic Courses and Islamic Studies classes at Masjid Al-Faatir. Brother Omar balances his time between volunteering at Masjid Al-Faatir
