Deschain, Winston, and Cadbury’s investigation into the insular community at Gasparilla takes a dark turn as a young girl’s cryptic warning proves more than well-founded. The lies told them by their guide begin to dissolve, and a threat far older than Gasparilla itself begins to suggest itself in the spaces left behind. The children’s nursery-rhyme game now begins to resemble something unspeakable as Nigel Robson’s insights into the community’s strange traditions are unearthed. There’s an unearthly song on the wind, and Jose Gaspar’s dark legacy hungrily seeks renewal. Careful examination gives way to madness and bloodletting in the finale of Santibel. The ORPHEUS Protocol is a Horror/Espionage RPG Rob is in the process of beta testing.
