Enter Whimseybox, a monthly craft subscription service that sends a box brimming with fun materials and a DIY project each month. Founder Alicia DiRago recognized the need in the market, and wanted to inspire everyone to make beautiful things by sending the tools and supplies straight to their doors. By utilizing a mentorship and seed money program for startups called Excelerate Labs, she has been able to grow Whimseybox by leaps and bounds in the last year.
