Hello everyone and welcome to CommanderCast Episode 339! This week Mark and Adam are back at it again! But a few quick notes… 1. There was a editing issue that caused a lot of static in the recording. 2. That static has been edited out. 3. The cost of editing out that static some of the show maybe a little bit harder to hear. With that out of the way we’re working on fixing this for future episodes.
With that out of the way this week they go over some of the Ultimate Master reprints, how to fix Boros, and a few Boros staples are thrown in for good measure.
Well click the IB and find out!!!

Strategy
“Fixing Boros”
Biggest issues:
- Not enough card draw
- Not enough symmetrical effects to make aggro a viable strategy in EDH
- The strategy it’s best at has a bad reputation
How to fix the card draw problem:
- Offer incentives for having fewer cards
- A reverse Rackling effect:
- Creature(s) get +X/+X for each card fewer than 7 in your hand
- “Deployment” effects that reward you for the number of permanents you have in play
- “Resupply” effects that reward you for attacking with card draw/ other resources
- Force other players to discard or use their resources too (or punish them for not using resources, like Charging Cinderhorn?)
- More good wheel effects
How to fix the aggro issue:
Land destruction
- People need to get over the land destruction thing
- Bonuses for having fewer lands
