Hello everyone and welcome to Commandercast Episode 199! We’re your weekly source for Community, Strategy, and Technology, hosted on MTGcast.com and our homesite: Commandercast.com! We’re recording this on May 7th, 2015.

This week William, Calvin, Mark, and Clay are joined by OG Commandercast member and current writer for General Damage Control, Swords to Plow himself, Sean Patchen!

That’s right! Sean swings by to help us understand the numbers when it comes to playing removal to take out a threat. Then we help one of our crew here come up with a theme deck for a color he doesn’t have a deck for! Then we wrap things up witha few value cards we all know and why plus why you should be playing them!

All this and more await with the click of an IB

Sean and I are going to rehash and continue the debate we started on twitter with some weighing from everyone else. Does having a single card really matter in your deck and can numbers really play out?

Strategy: Multiple Role players

We’ll talk about having cards that fill more than a single slot vs. cards that do a very narrow thing.
