To ramp or not to ramp, that is the question. Whether ‘tis Nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of an outraged playgroup or to simply draw more cards against a Sea of troubles, and by opposing end them; to smashface, to burn, to combo out on turn four and by a sweep to say we end the Heartache and the thousand Natural shocks that EDH is heir to?

‘Tis a Commander game devoutly to be wished. To ramp, to win, to win, perchance to gloat; aye, there’s the rub.
