He would go on to win a silver medal in the 2000 Paralympics. His experience would help him open the door for other veterans to compete after injury. His journey begins a five-part series on Colorado Matters with Colorado Paralympians, past, present, and future. The Paralympics begin in Paris, France on August 28.
