Melanie Nadia Ethier, known to her family and closest friends as “Mel,” was a vibrant and lively young woman in New Liskeard, Ontario. Her deeply woven empathy for others and a passion for dance and artistic expression were cut short by unexplainable, unsolved disappearance in September of 1996, leaving all who knew her across Temiskaming Shores and the entire province of Ontario at large grasping for answers in a sea of evidence that drowned us all in doubt… As a hope to provide more substantial reasoning built upon observable evidence and situational analysis, this is an examination of Melanie Ethier’s disappearance near the Armstrong Street Bridge and the endless enigmas of small town Canada...
