	Description:		Cominform was the “Communist Information Bureau” that Stalin kicked into existence as a response to the Marshall Plan. Although it didn’t really have any teeth, the organization was significant in that what it represented – a bloc forming rather than a broad, sweeping communist movement. The Communist Parties of the nations involved would more or less become the Warsaw Pact nations with the addition of the French and Italian commies, who they wanted to run interference on the Marshall Plan in the west. In their first meeting, they issued a report with five points as a direct response to the way things where shaping in the West.
