Scaling a cloud provider requires both technical expertise and skillful management. Lakshmi Sharma is the director of product management for networking at Google Cloud Platform. She joins the show to discuss the engineering challenges of building a large scale cloud provider, including reliability, programmability, and how to direct a large hierarchical team.
