Christopher Emdin is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics, Science and Technology at Teachers College, Columbia University. Watson, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at The City College of New York, The City University of New York. A Harlem native, her research examines the practices of successful school leaders and the impact of education policies on children of color.
