It was early-2017, Oliver was nearing the end of his high school years, when he had discovered Ethereum—or more accurately, the self-described tech-head had strapped together 6x GPU's for the purpose of mining Ethereum.

Although the mining rig was only a mild success, it did plant the seed for what would become Proxima Capital—the crypto-focused trading firm Oliver co-founded in 2019, that almost exclusively dedicates its resources and capital into market-neutral strategies.
